Holley 390 8007

I'm familiar with Holleys' up to a point. This 390 problem I have not run across before. The gasket I received (Holley kit) does not have the holes indicated (and fits throttle openings well).
from BLPs' site (gasket only pic). These 2 390's came disassembled with no Gasket to refer to. Will the holes make a difference, if so will opening the holes on my gasket do the same job, or is it not needed. Concern is having idle mixture control.
