Holley 600 adjust and tuning....

Ok guys I'm new here and new to the car world, I just picked up a 1969 El Camino 350 and would like to know the best way to properly tune and adjust it because now it's running rich and the engine spudders and shakes a bit It's a Holley 600 by the way.

What should the idle be set at also? right now it's at 600 rpm

I don't expect you guys to write a huge response to this but some basic step by step procedures would be nice...

BTW It has headers, edlebrock high rise intake manifold, medium cam,

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

Running rich and sputtering is probably a blown power valve. you will need to rebuild carb..
