Hi,

Can someone explain what the part on the inside of the throttle assembly is for and whether there is a spring missing on mine. I could not find anything specific on that area online.

Please see attached pic of my holley.

If your talking about that inside lever with the hole in it that is for a ford kickdown cable I believe and unless your using your carburetor on a for automatic that uses a kickdown cable you wont be using it. Hope that helps.

Thanks, that helps a lot. My truck is a GMC (1984) so I will not be using it.
