Holley 650 double pumper

Hi,I have just bought a holley 650dp off ebay, have noticed that looking at it as if it was on the motor the throttle linkage and fuel in pipes are on the left hand side, and the choke tower is at the back towards the firewall!does this mean the baseplate has been rotated, does this work ok if it has been, all my other holleys have had the throttle linkage on the right hand side looking at the engine, thanks for any info ??

Bowls have been installed wrong. Front is on the rear etc. Or base plate is installed backwards

All Holley carbs have throttle linkage on left side of carb. Choke housing/plate in front..

If the baseplate has been rotated 180 degrees will the carb still run ok,I presume they did this to allow for the linkage to work on their application?
Thanks in advance
