How many CI? Double pumpers are great for thier application, but the mechanical secondaries are not as forgiving as the vaccum secondaries on that 750 Edelbrock.

The Edelbrock will only take what it needs as where the DP is more of a "controlled fuel leak." either should work fine as long as your above about 350ci. Anything smaller and I would suggest something else. I have and use both including a 4165 650DP, a 4160 600cfm and 2 500cfm edelbrocks, (all properly tuned). I like the EB for the "set it and forget it" stay in tune deal, but the DP is more open to and fun to tune.
