I like the DP's over the Eddy units mainly because I'm more use to the Holley. A buddy and I have a 72 318 Dodge Demon with a 650 on it. It runs 13.50 @ 102 with a stock converter. It's pretty slow off the line with a 2.2 60' and doen't turn on until about 3000 rpm. It's fun to run someone with a faster dialin and surprises them when they think they have it in the bag and then it walks away from them lol. If you know how to set up your carbs, either one will run pretty dang good.
