I had a 750 DP on a 383 Mopar years ago and if I nailed it really quick, it would pop but it never bogged but after a minor adjustment, it was fine. Had a 650 on a 360 in a pickup and it never popped or bogged and the 650 that's on the 318 never does either. Another car, a 440 with a tunnel ram and 2 750 DP tunnel ram carbs popped one time in a full season of racing. All vehicles were automatics with factory stock hipo converters. Do ya know anyone that has one or the other that you could borrow? Too bad you ain't near me as I have just about every DP made up to 850 plus a 950 HP....I think a 650 would do just fine on a 406 or even a 750....
