I have a Holley 750 double pumper carb, does the front and back squirters suppose to spray when the engine is rev up, the front ones spray but the back ones don't and the caeb seems to run rich.
The secondary shooters must discharge fuel just before the secondary throttle plates open.Operate the throttle when the engine is not running. I battled with a 750 Holley running rich at all week. Eventually traced condition caused by too high fuel pressure. This was after checking everything else, power valves, float levels, air bleeds, shooter size e.t.c.
I think the double pumpers had mechanical secondaries and the secondary squirters spray as the secondary throttle blades are opening.
