Uhhhhhhh, what are you going to do? If it leaks, you have to replace the bowl its pressed into. If you can repair, you'll have to take the bowl off. Start hotrodding and fix it!

They do not last. Replace with brass.
I believe the instructions on my street avenger said they are temporary.

well thanks lol, on your responce...it never hurts to ask questions before a tearin...Iam not shy on hot rod fixing if you see my project journals or rides.....just started geting back into carbs again....been doing elec /mechanical fuel injection.I have never heard of new carbs out of the box leakin in the site glass ? this is poor quality from holley.allstate carbs "ever heard of them",they seem to have good prices on holley replacment float bowls $ 22.95 primary with floats and gaskets...know of a better place to go or deal ?thanks for your time

I figured you weren't a noob, that's why I figured to remind you that either way, you're gonna have to take it apart. No harm meant and I'm glad you didn't take offense.
Yeah, Jegs or Summit are the places I use. Wish there was a local speed shop around here but Ramchargers closed up about five years ago.
