Holley carb paint, any good ?



i am thinking of painting my throttle body with Holley carb color paint. for an old school look. is it any good ? polishing is out of the question.

Yrs ago when 660s were the deal on tunnel rams. I learned to modify carbs on my own cause i couldnt afford someone todo it for me. after milling and such i used dupli color pagan gold on my carbs.Looked great. If it got a spot i could repaint. just got to keep paint out of all the no -no spots.

thanx for the info. that is very helpfull. as i can just get that at walmart. and if i don't like it, i can strip it off.

btw, nice FED you have there. can i drive it

Eastwood sells a goldish-colored carb paint. It covers fairly well, but you have to paint a light coat otherwise (to me) it looks too fake.
