Holley Carb Question

I just found out I have a Holley 4V Carb. It is part# 80457-1 . It is 600 CFM. I am wondering what your thoughts are about this carb. Is it good for my Mustang with the 289? I also found out that I have a Edelbrock Performer 289 intake. Thats what it says on the intake, is this different from the Edelbrock Performer RPM? Is this intake stock or what was the stock intake?

Also I was wondering how to connect the electric choke on the carb since it appears to be disconnected with no wires to connect it in sight.

The carb is fine, the intake isnt factory, the performer is a dual plane just like the rpm, but the RPM has a larger plenum, so its a taller intake with more rpm potenial..

All you need is a hot and a ground, have a friend switch the key on/off and using a test light find a hot wire that go's on and off with the switch, and wallla...you have your hot wire..., and you can ground it anywhere you want, usualy though it grounds under the choke housing:
