holley carbs

holley carbs, 6929 vs. 3310-2; used on a 1975 gmc 6500, tandum axle, 2 transmissions, 5 main 4 aux, low gear ratio 732 ? . pro & cons. total weight, truck and load 44,000 lbs. getting ready to rebuild one or the other.....

Is this a resto project? 427 tall deck?any changes to the engine? the 6929 sounds like what it came with

If the 6929 has all the governor paraphernalia on it I'd use the 3310 tuned for the engine/truck.

Either way, tuning a good advance curve in the distributor can make a lot of difference, especially if it's still set up stock.
