Demons rock, the best carbs I have ever used, took off my custom built holley 950hp (700.00) and bolted on a 430.00 remanufactured 750 annular mighty demon off ebay, it ran perfect right out of the box, even my 650VS speed demon ran better than my 950hp overall.

Not to hijack this thread but please elaborate. How do know what is the "proper base timing"? Also the comment "BG carbs like allot of timing" is posted often. I have a 350 in a 65 Corvette with a Speed Demon 750VS.

Thanks
Tom

How did you end up there? Put a bunch of initial in until it pinged and back it off? Also what is your idle speed? I seem to have problems getting it to idle down with allot in initial timing.
Thanks

BG suggest 16º which I ran with my HEI, now I´ve moved to an MSD distributor which I can vary the mech advance.
Upon installation I timed it and set it at 18º just to try it and it´s running great.
