holley help
any one know why my holley would be leaking gas.when the car sets overnight i can pull a plug the next morning and its wet with gas.but the car cranks fine and after warming up it runs like a sewing machine.ive never been inside a carb so i dont understand the prob.u think its time for a rebuild its about 5 yrs old.its a holley 650 not a double pumper.and is it hard to re jett this carb,i got no expierence

The gaskets are shot. Get someone to rebuild it, or better yet, show you how to do it.

It's probably a bad needle and seat. If they aren't sealing correctly fuel will leak past them just as you are finding. Could also be a bad float which is leaking and pulling the needle off the seat or just some crud in the carb. Do like Poncho said and rebuild her... 5 yrs is a pretty good run without a freshening on one of these carbs...
