Holley - hesitation off idle

I have a brand new street avenger carb, 750, dual feed.. I have adjusted the air/fuel mixture with a vacuum gauge and I have adjusted the bowls.. I am also running about 9 pounds of fuel pressure... when I hit it from an idle it stumbles then quickly comes alive... Now I was wondering if this is something that could be fixed with a new accelerator pump cam, I currently have an orange one. Does anyone else have any other suggestions or ideas?>?

Thanks in advance.

For starters lower the fuel pressure to about 6 psi. then check over the accelerator pump, with the car shut off, work the throttle slow and watch the nozzles, make sure there are no dead spots in the entire pump range from dead off idle to wide open. if no dead spots are found then you may need to step to a different pump cam or bigger nozzles. also you can work the throttle quickly to see if there`s a dead spot, sometimes the spring will compress and the pump shot won`t activate quick enough and a stumble results.
