Holley idle circuit

I thought I knew these carbs pretty well but I've been playing with the idle circuit on a Holley 4777 650 Double Pumper and have downsized the idle feed restrictors which really helped to lean the mixture at idle, but did this modification also lean out the fuel that flows through the transfer slots? or is that supplied by the main well?

Holley's "A Look Inside Your Carburetor" explains and diagrams the idle circuit pretty well. See page 2.

Thanks, that explains it-the idle curcuit and transition circuit are both adjusted by the air/fuel mixture screws or by modifying the airbleeds and idle fuel bleeds. Interesting.
