holley pro injection 2
Been reading the posts and there seem to be a bunch of great shade tree
mechanics out there MY challenge is I am trying to help my son install a used holley pro-injection system on a 76 Bronco 351 engine with induction coil and distributor. The thing starts great when cold and runs good to great when cold when hot it will not due to flooding of the engine. TESTS fuel pressure 16 psig fuel return pressure less than 1psig TPS 6.8 volts in closed position 4.98 volts incoming to TPS only getting 2.38 volts at TPS in the wide open position should be 4+ (I know this disengages the flood override mode) Have replaced the coil was getting stray intermittent voltages that was causing the injectors to fire prematurely am getting 2 volts of back feed into the ECU when the power to the relay is turned off. I checked the relay and the voltage is not coming through it. Hope this is enough information for someone to help me troubleshoot this thing it is driving me nuts. Juwst in case anyone is wondering about "mpoar poor" working on a ford I am rebuilding a 64 plymough sports furry with 440 power |
