Holley Pump Cam Adjustment Question

I'm just double checking myself. I have two holes in the cam and two in the linkage. Both holes line up with each other and look as if a screw is missing.

If I want to put my cam in the #2 position, I need to remove the screw and rotate the cam so that the #1 hole in the cam lines up with the #2 hole in the linkage? Correct?

The way it is now is as I described with both holes lined up.

If your talking about the accelerator pump number one hole pumps right off idle for street vehicles that idle lower (around 600 rpm)! for cars that idle higher 1000,2000 and higher you need to use #2 or #3 hole that way when you use your idle screw for a faster idle the cam still gives you a full shot!! off idle. ) on smaller stock carbs one hole is for winter and the other is for summer. There isnt much difference in these holes (they look like they line up but they dont! The difference makes up for just a couple of turns on the idle adjusting screw!

Use #2 hole in the cam on #2 hole in the linkage and #1 in #1 like I said there isnt much difference if you want more order a different cam there is a variety with different ratios for the pump !

Hope this helped
