holley stealth ram

I have a carb on 383 as of now and im just getting tired of having it. I really want fuel injection. I was thinking about going to tpi, but everyone is telling me that it dosent have enough airflow. Ive seen that the holley stealth ram systems are perfect for what i need, but they go for above 3k on summitracing! But the intake manifold and top is only a little over $300 from summit. Is there any reason i couldnt just use all sensors and pcm from a tpi setup and just get a larger throttle body? And just order larger injectors and fuel rail from summit? If i could do this i would only be at around 1k for everything! Counting the cost of selling a few things and the carb and intake manifold ect i really wouldnt be coming up losing to much money.. that is of course my idea is possible.

Looking forward to the replys, thanks!

What's the intended use of the vehicle?

You might want to look into this as well:

The TPI harness, sensors, ECM, etc. will work with this.

What heads, cam are you running on your 383?

OH!!! MY MISTAKE!!!!

We certainly can't have your mighty 383 starving for fuel, now- can we!!!!!

You can't tune a carb, so think the answer lies in buying and trying to install a hybrid EFI system

Yeah.

Good luck with that... lol
