Holley Street Dominator.

Does anyone know if Holley makes a Street Dominator that will work with Dart Iron Eagle cast iron head. The heads have 200cc runners and 72 combustion chambers and this set up will be going on a Chevy 383 Stroker. All suggestions are appreciated.

The Street Dominator is close to a Performer (idle-5500) and have around 170cc runners. Cam specs and vehicle info would be helpful to assist in making a suggestion on possibly a much better intake for your application.

The 300-36, Holley Street Dominator is rated Idle-7200. It is a high rise duel plane intake like the Edelbrock Performer RPM(1500-6500). A very good choice for a street bound 200cc headed 383.....

Holley also stamped the same 300-36 intake with the name "Contender". No difference in the intakes other than the names. I currently have the three intakes I listed above and personally prefer the Holley over the Edelbrock. Wider power band, and better casting quality.... I've never found the Edelbrocks to be as good as the magazine articles make them out to be. Dan

when i was ready to buy that particular intake way back when they didn't have it at jegs and they didn't even know what it was.i will say in their defence that the name street dominator was new and so was the contender and i was cuaght up in that confussion too.ended up getting an rpm but still wish i'd have gotten the holley.better yet the strip dominator.
