As you know the Q-Jets leak out the bottom by those metal plugs because the gas is above them. The Holleys have the front and back bowls. If you don't have gas marks on the intake from leaky gaskets then I think (always dangerous) that it may be leaking via the idle circuit.

If it's not leaking it's probably evaporating. Simply install an electric fuel pump. Then all you'll have to do is let it run for a few seconds before turning the key.

Holley thinks is a Q-jet
Well i thought of using a electric pump but that does not fix the problem of the gas washing down the cyl walls and the gas getting into the motor oil.
Not sure gas is getting in the oil, if it is it is a small amount. Can not smell any gas on dipstick. Bill |
