Holly carb
Hi guys and girls
can someone please tell me the right way to set up the holly carb on my chevy truck, its a 600 4 barrel with vacuum secondarys it was new when i bought the truck but but the petrol tank was full of rust and clogged it up i have cleaned it out but now can't get it to run very well, it's a pig to start seems like it's running rich runs fast and and if you slow the idel down stalls when you put it in gear iv also fitted a high pressure pump and it kept flooding so i put an in line regulator hope some one can help as im at a loss as to what to do next cheers Bobby |

1. Carefully unbolt carburetor.
2. Remove applicable linkage. 3. Remove carburetor from intake. 4. Drop in trash. 5. Buy an Edelbrock. Not to be a smart ***, but it sounds like there may still be some dirt inside. I would disassemble again and vigorously blow out the passages. |
