Home from Iraq!

Hey Everybody! I have made it home from Iraq and enjoying the good ole' USA. As I said a couple of months ago, I found this site while deployed and tried to look at it often. I don't post much, I am more of look and listen type guy. The questions I have asked were answered promptly and I am amazed at the knowledge of the group.
I am lucky to have a wife that shares (tolerates) my car habit. I have a nice shop and two cool projects. My current one is a 69 SS396 Camaro that had belonged to a neighbor of mine since the early '70's. He passed away a few years ago and I was lucky enough to get his car. It had been sitting inside since 1985 and had stuff all over it. My wife had a friend come and take it apart (and I mean APART!) and start the work. I was so surprised when I got home! The work is great and a good head start for me. I started a journal a few minutes ago and only posted three pics. I will post more in the next few days starting with the day I picked the car up.
Sorry for the long post, just happy to be home with the family and ready to get in the shop and go to work!! David

I'm in the SC National Guard. We are a Signal unit so we provided phone and internet service. My job is Motor Sergeant. I work full-time for the guard so the only real difference was being in Baghdad vs home. I MUCH prefer home!! Thank you all for the kind words for not only me but every other military person that I have seen post here. Support for the troops is a tremendous morale booster while deployed. David

welcome back, thank you for serving, thank God for his blessings and your safety while in the sandbox.

Are the mass Iraqi population pro-new, free iraq, or what? I hear contradicting reports from the likes of michael savage, rush limbaugh, alan colmes, sean hannity, and the mass media.
