hood for 70 camaro

I am looking for a cowl hood 3.5" or 4" hood for my 70 camaro. I started to order one from Unlimited Products today but I had trouble getting answers from them. They said they would call back and didn't. After reading the reviews on this site about them I'm glad they didn't. Now the problem is finding another place to get a hood. Looking for a good product and good price (I know good luck) any idea? Thanks

not the answer your looking for

I am not from your neck of the woods. So I can't answer your question. But, I would go for the hinged hood. They are more expensive and only weigh a few pounds more. But as far as I am concerned they are worth the extra money.

A buddy has a new Harwood on his 81 and it fit almost as well as my Goodmark. Pretty nice piece. Go over to Nastyz28.com and post in the Competition section or Body section and the guys will have a couple other suggestions that work well.

Hood for Camaro

I have a 78 Camaro with a bolt on Glasstech 4 inch cowl hood. It fits very well but it is kind of heavy. I tried using Harwood lightweight hood springs and they wouldnt hold the hood up. I bought it new on E-Bay for 340 $ plus shipping a couple years ago. I am very happy with it although I wish it was lighter.
