Hood Works

I have a 36 ford coupe....And while I like the stock look (except for the dog ornament), it's a little out of line in that it pops when lowering and I don't like the orignal latches....What hood alternatives can anyone suggest?

36 Ford Hood

The pop is probably a bend in a bent side panel hinge rod flexing through the motion.
You can 3-pc. style hood from various amnufacturers, the absolute best being Rootlieb in California.
