Hooking up an ipod

I got the radio for my '62 Tbird updated. It is now capable of playing an Ipod through some jacks on the back of it. I was hoping to mount a jack for it in the glove compartment and play it from there. (You can't steal it if you don't know it's there). Has any one done this? I tried contacting the guy who did the conversion but no reply....
Thanks

I haven't don it with an I pod but with a portable CD player for awhile, I got the wires I needed from radio shack worked fine.
Take care,
Rich

Ive seen 2 guys use the FM transmitter kit which also charges the ipod. Sound seems ok although a 3.5mm jack would be better:

Link to item on ebay

I dont know if the item above is any good but thats a similar item so you can at least charge the ipod
