hooking up a non hei

anybody tell me how to hook up a non hei quick, just want to get it fired up, a 350 in a 68 chevelle, Thank you !

You need of course, a coil and resistor, hook your 12 volts on one side of the resistor, the other to the coil (-), then the other terminal (+)on the coil goes to the points and Condenser.

Be sure the points have a ground pigtail, (most do) from the points body to the advance plate, and the hot wire isn't hitting anything else.

Set the points about 17 , and make sure they open and close, and you should be all good.
