horn relay

Hey guys,

I'm new to this association and this is my first post.

I know for all you Hot Rodding Buffs that this is probably going to be silly in your eyes but, I need to know where to go to find a diagram of some sort to show me how to wire up a horn button to a relay then to the source. This should be simple but electronis for me is mind blowing. Ask me to weld and I can do it in any position with my eyes closed!

So is there anyone who could help me in this matter?

Thanks for your time and consideration!

Jayteeh

The attached schematic (right side) shows a typical horn relay circuit.
This is very common for all relay controlled loads.
In this case the grounding of the horn button completes the circuit, energizing the relay. The relay switches the power to operate the horns.
Don't ask me to weld, you will be unhappy with the result.
