horsepower 350sbc?

does any one know how much horsepower a 79 350 sbc with edelbrock carb, edelbrock intake, edelbrock cam, and trick flow heads would have? i was told something like 300hp but i dont know?

I dunno maybe it is just me, but I would think we would need to know what type of intake, cam and such you have on it, but hey I am a new guy to the scene as well so what do I know

yeah i know im dumb i dont know anything about this car i just bought it and i dont know how to measure all that stuff so i just asked a dumb question to be a dumbas5 w/e when i figure this stuff out then i'll repost this question with more info but thanx anyways

Bah that was not a dumb question at all just needed a bit more information is all. Maybe some of the other folks on here can tell you what to look at so you can tell what you have and give you a better guess.

Well first look at the intake,it'll say what it is,Performer,Performer rpm torker etc...
As far as the cam if your positive it has a cam and its an edelbrock then its rolly one of three.Performer,Performer RPM or Torker.If it idles near stock its the performer.If it idles like its possesed by the devil its got either the RPM or Torker cam.
As far as the carb you can rolly check the part # against a Jegs catalog to find out the CFM.
Edit:Ooops...miss read though you said Edelbrock heads too.
Also evan if our figure the type/model of heads out,unless you can find the combustion chamber size of the heads and type of pistons you can only guess compression and therefor only guess HP.

ok i havent checked this post in a while almost abonded it but i have edelbrock performer carb, performer intake and performer cam, as go the heads they are trick flow dont know the size tho. idles nice and good throttle response
