Horsepower Estimate

Just wondering how much I will be making once i finish putting it together, putting it in a 81 monte carlo,

1972 350 030
Heads 2.02

SPEED-PRO FLAT TOP COATED PISTONS
MOLY RINGS

ok, this is just a guess, and a lot of people will say its too high because of the ehads, but I'm going with about 360 hp at the flywheel.

I would say 310hp. You really need to get rid of those stock heads!

A lot of sbc dyno's on this site. Sorry, the low hp dynos run have the stock heads.

If those are stock heads you're looking at about 8:1 compression and some very marginal flow numbers. You'll be lucky to get 280 horse, and the RPM is probably not the best choice to match the powerband of that cam.

what kind of intake do i get, for it, what kind of heads should i get, im kinda on a budget. What will be the difference in the power if i get new aluminum heads.

50 hp difference most likely. check out that site I listed above. You don't need alum. heads. A set of Darts or Sportsman II's will also work well.
