When you get your engine dialed in and tuned right, you will likely see the stall is much closer than it is now! |

that was with my stall in a th350 and a 355 with flat tops and some stock fuelie heads with 1.94 1.60 a preformer rpm intake and a summit 234-244 488-510 that truck weighed 3650 and was slow as hell I hated it after all the work I did to it. when I got it all it had was the flat tops and heads I put the rest of it on the motor and it only picked up one tenth

I met some older guys last night that are local drag racers here that say they will show me the ropes and want me to race my truck I also found a 67 nova for sale today for 1500$ I think I might go buy so not its wether I want to put my motor in my truck or in this nova I know the nova will get alot better traction versus the truck and be lots faster but the truck is what I have been working on for long time now hard choice

are you using a roller cam? if not, you don't need a wear plate or a button.
And if you are using a roller cam, then you need to check the endplay of the button to the timing chain cover. furthermore, a regular timing chain cover isn't really stiff enough to hold a roller cam in place |

got my rockers and stud girdles today (finally) so I got all my parts except my thrust washer so I should have it done in a week or so wich figures cause the truck goes into paint friday or saturday I still gotta pull the tranny out cause there is a broken bolt that holds the filter up I gotta retrieve and replace but its getting there slowly but surely oh yeah I also bought that demon 750 double pump manual secondaries and one more thing I downloaded this comp cams cam quest thing it is basically a dyno simulator and it helps pick out a cam and it picks out a cam one size smaller than what I went with but it says 569-hp and 550-tq that is saying that i have high performance heads but I dont know if that is accurate what do you think would you say performer rpm heads are high performance
