Hose Reel Hookup
I got a hose reel and have a question about hooking it up. I don't want to use hard pipe to hook it up. I want to use flexible hose between my hard lines and the reel. My question is will the fittings with the barbs to hold the hose in place be ok if I put some hose clamps around them? I probably won't ever run the regulator up over 100 psi. It's just a matter of safety because I've seen some hoses with high pressure come loose and whip around. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

With good hose clamps it should be fine. You could always clamp you hose to the wall or whatever just to be safe from a crazy air hoses whipping around. Now me personally, I like crazy air hoses whipping around all over. It is good fun.

Been using hose clamps and barbs for years...I always use two clamps on each barb.
