Doc here,
The Coil will run warm..Consider it is sinking about 20 to 40 amps to ground each time the trigger pulse goes low.. You MIGHT want to check to see if a Ballast resistor is required on the primary of the MSD coil for your application. If it is, and you don't have one, the coil will die a premature death... Doc
