Hot Rod/Automotive TV Shows

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of pitching a tv show about traditional hot rods and customs, but before that happens, I was wondering if you all could help me out with some of your most and least favorite shows currently airing.
Thanks.

Worst TV

Someone said Pimp my Ride as the worts - could be - but I can't comment for certain, I never watched it.

But Unique Whips, is near the top of my list for the worst - boring, and a bit on the stupid side.

Hot Rod/Automotive TV Shows

Don't know the name of it but it's about some grease ball who owns a car dealership in CA I believe, and tries to pump up his slimy sales force to sell cars. He's a big slob who thinks he's cool. Would't buy a used bicycle from a scum bag like that!!

KING OR CARS...(Blows chunks! .. )

I like the ones they show on PBS sometimes (no real name for them I guess, other then DYI) Where a novice fixes his or her car and makes real mistakes..like forgetting to put the oil plug back in..ECT..Those are real..

Time to call my dog in.."Here Chunks..."

Id like to see a REALISTIC hot rod show where people work on hot rods on budgets similar to ours. They dont bolt stuff on out of a box, they make mistakes and show it on tv, they dont read off of cards, umm pretty much the opposite of the powerblock (for the most part) BTW..Pimp My Ride sucks along with Unique Whips.

Build or Bust is about the only thing even close to real that I have seen. Real people trying to build a real bike with real tools and the parts that they pick in the beginning of the show. It is their knowledge, (or lack thereof), that makes or breaks them.
How about a show like that for cars?
Just my opinion.

Worst = Two Guys Garage - nothing but a 30 minute infomercial.

Best = Trucks with Stacey David, not the new buffoons.

Very close second best = the original Shadetree Mechanic.

American Hot Rod

A little off topic - but what happened to Roy? He's mentioned on the last two shows I've seen, but I haven't heard anyone say why he's not there.

I kind of miss him - kind of a crusty old guy, but he did have some talent. Mind you the '59 Chev motorcycle did give him some problems.

Enjoy your day - its raining here, and I was hoping to take out the '32 tonight
