When using FLATZ paint is this stuff going to hold up like
Paint or Primer ?
Simple one stage hot rod black or am I missing something .

I see they sell a Flat Clear I guess thats if you want to paint your Ride
A color they dont have and still want the Flat look ..

Just use there clear if using your own Base-coat
and it's not needed for there Paint ??

My cab is in the body shop getting a fresh coat of paint. I have made the decision to use a "SATAN" finish. Not black as most people have done but a champagine (sand) color pearl metallic. I have had a few test panels shot and i think it looks awsome....... May regret it someday!!

My bodyshop person thinks it looks bad!!

Hope this attaches Im not good at computers. Anyhow this may be what you want or it might not be white enough. The white portion I mixed using X-otic paint. It is basecoat white with a drop of red and a drop of blue also I did somthing different, instead of mixing it with innercoat clear like i usually do I put 1/2 teaspoon of gold pearl powder pearl quart directly in the paint, it pretty much killed the pearl except in bright sun, which is what I was after, anyhoo for what its worth. Did a Rat Rod junker for a friend with this kirker Hot Rod Black paint. He sanded and masked it and I shot the $49.95 a gallon Hot Rod Black on it in 3 coats. It looks like flat black primer with no shine at all. Comes out of the can so thick I had to thin it to spray with my primer gun that has a 1.8 cap on it. I did the whole jeep in 2 hours, so the $300 I charged him made me some nice cash for an afternoon. Will never use it on a decent car as it was junk paint as far as I'm concerned. But the guy was happy as can be with the way it looked for his 1948 Jeepster Rat Rod. All I could say was different strokes for different folks
