Gunmetal Metallic?????????

OK SO I HAVE DECIDED TO NOT GO WITH THE FLAT LOOK THE MORE CARS I LOOKED AT THEY LOOK AS IF THEY ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PROJECT, UNFINISHED. ( ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE HIGH END CARS$100,000+, LOOK PRETTY SWEET!)
SO I AM GOING WITH A GUNMETAL METALLIC, CAN ANY ONE GIVE ME SOME GOOD ADVICE ON WHERE TO FIND A GOOD VERSION OF THIS COLOR AND MAYBE SOME EXAMPLES, LOTS OF PAYCHECKS BEING SPENT HERE SO I WANT TO DO IT RIGHT. DON'T WANT IT TO BE A COLOR YOU WILL SEE ANYWHERE!

You can get just black base coat paint from your local paint supplier.

Paint the car with this base coat. That part is easy.

Next go to your local PPG paint supplier and get PPG Flex coat. This is a clear that dries flat. It is like spraying a clear coat so you have to be careful. You can't sand out any nibs, sags or runs.

my only concern is if i have to have something re-shot down the road would it matter if everything wasn't mixed the exact same then end up with 2 different looking surfaces, i want to go with a flat or matte gunmetal silver... any picks out there that u know of with that similar color for me to get an idea before the final decision

the easiest stuff is blitz black as its just a single stage paint, looks great, cheap, durable the downside is that you will have to sand it all off if you ever repaint

But even so I sprayed my vette with it and love it, cleans up easy with soap and water and looks great

I will say this your body work better be perfect because a flat or matte paint in black WILL show every defect or flaw so make sure you consider this as I have seen some cars sprayed satin/matte/low gloss/flat black that should have never been
