hot rod mag on kindle?

i'm thinking about buying a tablet. i noticed the new kindle fire has hot rod magazine on amazon. has anyone read hot rod on a kindle or any tablet? the local paper, detroit free press, is also available there. i may go paperless.

intersource media only has hot rod and car craft for e-readers right now. but i assume that all mags will eventually go e-reader. i'm not a saver of magazines, i read em and toss em. not cheap either: hot rod is $1.99/mth and car craft is $0.99/mth, i'm currently paying $22 for 3 yrs of hot rod and $18 for 3 yrs of car craft.

Looks like you would spend an extra $18 on Car Craft and spend an extra $54 on Hot Rod, give or take a few cents.

I have a Nook Color, and I get Hot Rod and Car Craft on it-I like it a lot, and get many "Car" types of Books/Magazines-I think the new Kindle and Nook are great-

The Kindle Fire is a great value in a low priced tablet. Problem is it's tied to one source of content. If like you say "All mags will eventually go e-reader" I doubt Amazon will be handling "All mags". Murphy's law says "the book, mag you want will be the one you don't have access to". So why not get a tablet that with apps is open to everything. eg Samsung, Archos, etc. Maybe cost a little more to start but your not tied to one supplier of content. If you could only put Ford parts in your Ford car, would you be a hot rodder?

the nook color looks like a better tablet any way. there is a way to boot from a memory car that will allow to use android 2.2 and still keep your warranty intact. i guess it was more of a generic android question.

yes, i was hoping all mags would go e-reader...

i still want one. mommy???
