Hot Rod Photographer

Just found this site by accident, looks like it should be fun.
I am a freelance photographer and writer for most of the street rod oriented magazines. I have been doing this most of my adult life and really enjoy it. I have had a lot of rods over the years but my current one is my favorite. It is a '39 Ford coupe, red of course, with wide whites and Olds hub caps. I have put 12,000 miles on it in the last three years including spending the summer in New York state and a trip to the Street Rod Nats in Louisville, Ky. It is always fun to meet new people interested in old cars, or cars period. I keep in touch with guys I have met in Europe, England and France. Some of my English buddies met up with us at the Nats. It was great seeing them again. I will include my web site and a photo.

Hi Henry,

Maybe you can help, can't seem to figure out how to put a photo of my old Ford on this site. I do OK with computers but it is not clear as to how to do this.

thanks,

Just click on your photo album....top right. Go to upload photos, find them on your hard drive and upload.

You do have some photos on your harddrive, right?

Hi Dale,

It is always good to hear from another Dale. In my small HS senior class back in central New York state there were three of us. Now there is one in my rod club the Rose City Street Rods of Portland, Oregon.
I just got started on this site, never having done this before I am having trouble navigating. I have been shooting 100 % digital for three years now except for covers and center spreads, and have learned a lot about the computer back up to it all in the process. My stuff is published all over the world but that still doesn't make me a computer wizard, so this site seems hard to navigate. I thought I put several photos on here but can't seem to find them, or my original page. It sounds like I am a real ditz, but it is not that self explanitory.
Any way thanks for the note.

Hey Dale:

I've seen some of those pics (I subscribe to Street Rodder and Rod & Custom,as well as several others). Very nice work. Do you ever write the articles that go with them?

Hello Animal,

Flash here,

Thanks for the good words,

In resonse to your question, I write all my articles unless it says differently. In the current Street Rodder my own car is on page 100 in article by Chuck Vranas on the Syracuse Nats. Then on pages 82,83,84 is a piece I did on a '33 Plymouth. Also in the new issue of American Rodder I have two local cars from the NW featured.
I have been doing this for many moons and very much enjoy the work and the cars.
all the best,

Dale M. Moreau m.ph Fph BSA and Phd..........
