Working on a 67 Chevy Stepper & Want to Go with Hot Rod Red, I have done a Lot of Searching to try Finding Complete Vechicles that have used that Color & No Luck so Far............

Can anyone help with any Info on This Paint & the care of it?? Pics would be Great...........

Are you looking for a flat or satin finish?

I would imagine you could use a flattener in the clear to get the desired results. BUT, I'm not a painter, so maybe someone who is will post.

In my opinion those trucks look better ether wearing the stock faded paint or REAL REAL SHINEY nothing wrong with primer while its a work in progress though.

Thanks for the responce, Here is a Pic of a S10 that was stated as being painted in Hot Rod Red Flatz Paint, Really like the Look of it. Almost looks to be anodized to me, Really seem's to make it Pop.........

I have thought long & Hard about this Choice & decided on this Color Combo to have something that sticks out from the Norm........

Looks like neon red to me but is kinda hard to tell from a web pic...Sometimes paint is called some custom color when it is something that is readily available..

Probably factory red with a flattening agent put into it.

I've seen a few cars done like this and wasn't particularly impressed.

But I'm diggin the semi sheen on this S-10!

That Sheen is what I'm After, Just have to Figure out how it was Obtained..........
