I have a 71 bug I picked up a few months ago. Pretty rough mechanically but a good body. Plan is for the 327/350 sittin in the corner of the garage to go in there, but I got a half dozen project cars ahead of it.................... So many toys, so little time!

I wouldn'y mind doing a radically lowered, fenders removed bug someday myself like the ones in the link I provided.
"So little time" is right. Maybe in my next life. For me it's "Not Enough Toys" though. LOL |

Bugs are alot of fun! We had a guy in high school that would smoke the tires. back up and do a second one and make a "W" pattern as his sig. You could always tell where he been by way of the burn outs!
![]() Oh, greetings 6567GTO! I know you from the PY boards. I just stumbled upon this site myself. |

I hate Volkswagons, always have and always will. but..I remember one in the early 70s at Brainerd, called "little but quick", ran a Porsche turbo charged engine, ran in the 9's, chopped, pretty radical as I remember. There's a business about 10 miles from my house, used to be called Claudes Buggys, called CB performance now but sells the crap out of gofast vw parts. Dan
