That's it, except my headlight covers still work.
Main reason for the insanity is old age, followed closely by it being my Dads last car. He was an Olds guy as long as I can remember.
One of my first Memories is of sitting next to Him in his car singing along to oldies on AM radio, badly and at the top of our lungs. It was a big Olds he used to street race on weekends.
One of my Last is of driving Him to a Doctors appointment just a day before he passed in the 92. After lifting him from his wheelchair into the seat he told me "You can go faster, it's your car now drive it like ya stole it!"
If not for this the car would have been sold long ago when it was still like new and a few offered me way more than it was worth.
Now its a matter of doing something Dad would be proud of. I know he would, He told me so last night when I was sitting in that Drivers seat again thinking about what I was about to undertake.
