I've thought this would be a great project from the beginning and when Joe suggested the Northstar...well, I think that is just way cool. The Northstar is a bit of a finicky engine and has had it's problems with Head gasket issues and the like...but, I will find that site with a lot of information on hot rodding the Northstar and with what your buddy has to offer....it will be a blast.

There are several years that are more desireable than others...apparently the 93 and 94 have some inherent problems if I'm correct. As I mentioned earlier I have a Northstar 4.6 in an Eldorado ETC (Touring Cupe...more HP but the ECS has more torque)...when I first got it...the Wife thought it was a boat...now I can't pry it out of her hands...she's become a Civic eating machine....(My Wife more so than the car...LOL)

Love the project and keep all of us up to date.

Ray
