Hot Rods you have owned post up some pictures!

A good friend that lives down in Dallas now texted a few pictures of some of my old vehicles I've owned over the years. Brings back some good memories. It's hard to believe all the vehicles that I have owned.

Unless there is another thread somewhere, I thought it might be fun to post some pictures of cars/trucks you have owned or still own from over the years. Kind of a HotRodders forum readers past rides thread. I was getting a kick out of the black and white picture thread.

The first one is of my second car that I bought when I was a senior in HS 1988. It's just a base Impala with a 283/powerglide. I loved the dark green paint on that car. It wasn't super fast but it was my first engine and cam swap.

The bottom is when I first put the Cragar SS wheels on the car and had it jacked way up. This is near the tressel bridge on the way from Alamogordo to Cloudcroft, NM.

The top one is a little bit later in the barracks parking lot at Holloman AFB, New Mexico.

I sold her around thirteen years ago when I decided I only needed one 64 Impala. She wasn't my first car and the other was an SS so I decided to let her go.

The second pic is my 55 Chevy. The sb 350 was in pretty sad shape and ended up having a shop put in a built 383 with hogged out 441 heads. It was a screamer with 4.10's in the 12 bolt rear end. I drove the heck out of the truck. Good thing the gas was cheap back then! I'll have to see if I can find a picture of the front but I had a little fun with it painting "teeth" around edge of the front grill. I never did get it painted and it basically stayed the same until I traded it a few years ago for a flat fender Jeep.

Wow! I see you like black. You've owned some very nice Hotrods.

The 60's Ford front fenders on the back of your sons truck is a pretty cool idea.

I owned the Malibu when I was living in New Mexico. The second car...petty blue 66 BelAir...was my first car.
Wish I had them both.My oldest brother bought the 64 when I drove it to Florida. It got the Pro street treatment.
Not technicaly hotrods when I owned them, but the buyers did make them hotrods. They were both 6 cyl cars when I owned them.

I've been liking those later BelAirs and Impalas more and more over the years. Nice first car.

I loved living in New Mexico. I want to make a trip back down there one of these years. It was always fun taking a trip up in the mountains to go skiing and come back after the day and not have to deal with the snow.

There are a bunch of cars still around that can be bought also . New Mexico is a rust free state...LOL.
My buddy Emilio in Deming has a bunch of stuff just off Silver City Hiway. He used to have like 85-90 cars. That is where I bought the 64.
I imagine he sold a lot of it off in the past number of years.

I bought my 64 Impala SS from a guy in Alamogordo. I spied it sitting by his trailer house on a trip up to Cloudcroft. I'm glad I was able to get up the courage enough to ask if he would sell it.

I remember a guy having a whole bunch of old cars right outside of Alamogordo but he wouldn't let anyone near them. I was good friends with a guy that got stationed there which was his home town. He knew about all the dessert parties and cool places to hang out. Those were some fun times!

Good thing that Meteor isn't hurtling towards earth. That would make a big hole.

Is that last picture a Catalina? Some friends parents in hs had a pair of four door Bonneville's with 455's. Those huge cars could really do some really good burnouts lol.
