hot spark plug

which is a hotter plug r44ts or r45ts and how can i figure it out? thanks gary

r45s are hotter, notice the electrode hangs lower on the hot plug and the colder one is recessed.

44 and 45 are the heat range of the plug, in AC Delco sparkplugs hotter is higher number, cooler is lower number, 45 is hotter than 44.

thanks so i should be able to sub 45 for my 44's . i need a little hotter plug i think.
