Hot start issue

I have been reading hear on a bunch of starter issues, but none are exactly like mine. I was wondering if one of you have had simmilar issues and know how to fix my pia starter. I have a 67 camaro with a SBC and headers. The starter is a mini starter put on buy the previous owner. Headers are wraped to lessen heat in engine compartment. Car will start when cold. If i drive the car for around 30 minutes and shut the car off and restart it, it fires right up. IF i leave it alone for about 5 minutes all it does is click the solonoid. It will not crank at all for about 20 minutes. After i wait it will crank like crazy. It never cranks slowly, but just clicks untill i let it cool down. P.S. it seems to be getting worse.
thanks in advance for your help.
Ron

Thanks for the reply. The starter still looks new, do you think that if i took it apart and cleaned it up i could get it to work correctly? Can it be rebuilt, or do i have to get a new one. unfotunately i don't know the make.
thanks
Ron

Buy a kit from Summit or Jegs to locate a starter solenoid to the inner fender next to the battery. That'll be the end of your starting problems.
