Hotrod/custom shops in Minnesota

I run a little hotrod shop on the west coast of Canada. I'm going to Minnesota this coming weekend for a Fastpitch tournament, and am giving myself an extra day to check out some shops or cool car places down there. I'll be in N.Mankato from the 18th to 21, and in Minneapolis on the 22. Anybody know any cool places worth checking out? I'd love to see some of the local cars or related stuff, and maybe see how things are done over there. Reply here or pm me. Thanks for any info. Kurt

Try the Minnesota Street Rod Assn. They know just about everything going on in MN regarding hot rodding. You might find some good info in their "Line Chaser" newsletter.

I'm not sure how close you would get to this shop but I've heard good things about them. Choppers Rods and Customs, 12526 319th Ave. NW, Princeton, MN 55371 (763-389-3060).

Always learning...and sharing what I've learned.

Nice site. I found a couple places on there but haven't had time to check if they are within driving distance yet. Any local gearheads out there?
