What part of Michigan are you going to be moving to?

If you are around the Ann Arbor area, you could enroll in the Auto Restoration program at Washtenaw community college. I forget the official name of the program, but they work on custom cars too. Last I checked they were working on a Model T for the Henry Ford Museum, an old racecar (Allard?) and a '34 Chevy maybe? It's being chopped by the students at the moment. The guy who owns it is "the real deal" when it comes to car projects. He teaches the course on vintage engine rebuilding and has been around the scene for somwe time now. I want to say he had a magazine from the '50s that had one of his cars in it???

The program is still relatively new and getting on it's feet... Click here for program details but don't take the course descriptions literally. I've taken three of the restoration classes, the engine rebuilding course, and am starting the welding class this winter. So far, the restoration courses have come no where near covering what the descriptions say they will, but it's been a good experience and they are getting the shop set up better each quarter.
