Sadly... no. If it were mine it would have much more power! :-)

I built a lot of my own toys from the frame up, but when I found out how much I loved painting... and my friends started hiring me... I gave up projects and ownership. That way I get to do my favorite part, and I...

A- Don't have to spend three years or more building a project (like I used to) just to get to paint it.

B- I also don't have to do things I don't like... such as basic assembly, wiring, brakes, and waiting for money and parts before I can move on.

C- And most importantly... I don't have to work a "real" job any more. (Of course I wouldn't have to work as hard... but it's a great trade-off. :-) I get to have my hands all over the neatest stuff!!

For those who remember me, I got out of the "car scene" when I signed on the dotted line for the Navy Reserves, and got into woodworking. FYI, Woodworking is just as expensive a hobby as car building....

In a while, Chet.

Yes, the second picture. There's a couple of us hang glider hot rodders in this area. Thrill seeking of all types, I guess.

Chet, it's not as expensive as an EX hobby like cars, unless you let your wood take control! LOL

But with the hot rod, unlike hang gliding, I don't get butterflies in my stomach at the beginning and end of a drive. I loved the flying part, but not so much the take offs and landings. lol
