I hear you, I recently put my 14 year old down. Maxx deteriorated quickly in his last year but played like a pup for the first 13. He was my buddy and a family member, he is missed.

I'm very sorry for your loss Evil, it's 3AM here and me and the wife are just not coping well so we are just reminicing about her. She was a big pitbull / Ridgeback mix with all kinds of nice talents, so good with my grandsons, the cats in the house, anyone that was nice or she knew to protect. She was around 29 inches at the shoulders and 92 lbs, but I would let her carry in groceries, just drop the plastic handles into her mouth and she'd walk right into the house, the neighborhood kids loved to watch her do it.

Great work by everyone so far!

Evil dead and Mark, I'm sorry to hear of the loses. I have a black lab that is truly my best friend and has been since we got him. He still acts like he's a little puppy, and I always catch myself saying things like "he's only (X) years old". He's "only" 9 now and it breaks my heart to even think that he won't be around one day (god hoping A LONG ways away).

Mark and Evil, so sorry to hear of your loss. I feel your pain. My last two "best friends" to pass a few years ago were my 14 year old German Shepard and my 25 year old cat. They were just like family to us, and it was heartwrenching to lose them. We still talk about them, and the fond memories bring a smile to our faces. It's nice to know that others besides myself, hold their beloved pets in such high regard. I hope you guys find some peace knowing that you returned the unquestionable love that these animals devoted to us, and that they truly appreciated our care and friendship that we unselfishly gave to them.

Man I can't believe I didn't get in this one. I started playing around with photoshop and just ran out of time early in the month and just didn't learn how to do what I wanted to, but I'm not given up on it. I should have just done a drawing instead. Mark, sorry to hear about your dog,I lost both of mine in one year so I know how you feel.
As for the entrys, man each one of you guys should win, it's going to be hard to choose just one. BB, your Olds is right on, JJ, the 51 is sharp, I like the rust. 57 outstanding work, love the Buick, when I saw that picture it it blew me away, will tell you guys later and theres that gas station always a good setting. Evil dead you did the same thing to me with your entry, I really like what you did with the portholes.
Great work by everyone!!! Phil
