Wow, that first one is sic' !!, The added art rendering for the second is cool too. I had sketched ou some stuff and it's fairly similar in that style. How you translate it to AI is what I'm thinking is beyond me, lol.

Bob, the problem I was having with my CS3 is that even trying to render a filter or make that style effect was literally dumping a huge temp file on my scratch disk and hanging. The new comp should be here soon and they kinda told me that CS3 doesn't like windows 7 too much or make proper use of the new power these chips, drives and memory. They advised me to upgrade to CS5, was wondering if you have tried it or seen any differences.

Not sure if you are on a MAC or a PC, this ones going to be quite fast since I still can't figure out MAC's

Mark, I'm on a PC and use CS3...... I have CS5 on my Christmas list yjos year and hope to get the upgrade. I really haven't had any problems with file sizes using XP Pro. Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro if running together for a long time, does slow down and I do need to reboot though.

You probably won't have any problems with your new computer ...... I have only heard good things about Windows 7.

Cool, Sme here. I was able to do all that great stuff, but it's beat up now and so much junk loaded into PS, I hate to do it all again, lol. I used to be able to max out a radial blur in just a blink of an eye with an 8X12 photo at 300 dpi, now it just fails. I do all my stuff really large. But Falcon Northwest who built the comp says it will handle anything I throw at it and not even blink. 12 gigs of ram, dual drives 1 terabyte each with 64 meg cache's, Nvidia 1.5 gig video card, and the best mobo ever with a 320 gig solid state drive in a pci express which translates to virtual ram in this state.

I'll also be installing XP in virtual PC mode so it can run under both operating systems

Tracking says it's just a few days away from getting here

Wow, I really like that idea, a six cylinder,so much of the engine shows in that style, very nice !!
